Ravan Bench
Ravan is a single Persian walnut plank asked to do one thing well. Juglans regia, from Tania Fiuzie's documented family stock and worked entirely by her own hands — lawful, transparent, no value flowing to Iran — its 180 cm run keeps a natural undulation along one edge where the tree's outline once was, left uncut. Two solid legs pass through the seat in wedged through-tenons visible from above, the joint doubling as the only ornament the piece allows itself. Low at 45 cm, it works at the end of a bed or the length of a hall. Finished in oil that deepens the reddish cast of this particular log. One bench, signed on the underside of the seat.
