Qalamkar Desert Turban
A single length of block-printed cotton voile, cut long and narrow enough to wind fully around the head and knot at the nape, printed with the same hand-carved zigzag Kaveh uses across the whole Qalamkar family. Lighter than the Dust Wrap and shaped for the head rather than the neck, it does the same job a scarf can't in open sun: keeps hair out of the wind and dust off the scalp, hours at a stretch. Hemmed by hand on all four sides, printed to match the kimono and top so the three pieces can be worn as a single line or picked apart across a week on the playa.
