Kilim Kavir Shawl
A lighter companion to the Kilim Kavir Cape, woven on the same horizontal loom in the same undyed and iron-dark wool, the geometric motif shrunk to fit a shoulder-width piece instead of a full body wrap. Long enough to knot at the hip or fold over one shoulder and pin, warm enough for the hour before dawn when the temperature finally drops. Homa finishes the two short edges with the same deliberately uneven fringe as the cape, so the pieces read as a family without being identical twins. Handwoven a run at a time; no kilim pattern repeats exactly.
