Ember Floor Lamp
Ember is a lamp built as a piece of furniture that happens to glow. A turned European walnut column, 165 cm tall, rises from a solid disc base weighted so the whole stands without a splayed foot. Near the top the wood is worked thin enough to warm — but not pass — the light, so the source reads as an ember held in grain rather than a bulb behind a shade. Tania turns the column in a single session so its taper is continuous, then oils it to a finish that catches the same warm light it casts. Wired to EU standard, dimmable. One only, signed under the base.
